Leila hails from San Francisco, California and is studying marine biology and aquatic and fisheries sciences at UW. When she isn’t in class or at work, she can be found hiking, SCUBA diving, or lifting (and yapping) at the gym. Despite missing her California sunshine, Leila has grown to love Seattle because of its unmatched proximity to so many incredible mountains, forests, and waterways, and feels lucky to explore these areas with fellow Peaks and Profs pals. This year, she hopes to take her outdoor activities to new heights with plans to conquer Mount Rainier, Adams, and Baker.
