Rachel is frankly just a piece of hiker trash attempting to pass as a Seattlelite, despite her sunny San Diego upbringing. After recently completing a thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, she takes on the bigger challenge of forcing herself to shower more than once a week, cutting off the hiker hunger that previously drove her to eat four vegan Big Mac’s in one sitting, and removing five months of hiker stench from a down jacket. She moved up to the PNW to pursue a degree in Ecology, and hopefully weasel her way on to a few Himalayan climbing expeditions. She is notorious for being a vegan that does not eat vegetables, playing chicken with downhill hikers that fail to yield, and threatening to sell foot pics in order to fund her outdoor adventures.
