Sophia is from Los Angeles studying marine biology and environmental science. She swapped sunny beaches for rainy trails and couldn't be happier- except maybe if talenti salted caramel truffle layered gelato ice cream was a trail snack staple. She loves exploring the PNW through backpacking, climbing, biking, skiing, and stopping mid hike to identify every plant in sight. When she's not leading trips, you'll find her in a hot yoga studio dreaming up her next travel adventure. She's stoked to bring her love for the outdoors, good vibes, and maybe a sprinkle of botany trivia to Peaks and Professors this year!
